I grew up living in Harpswell and Brunswick until graduating from Brunswick High School, when I moved to Castine to attend Maine Maritime Academy. While I always planned to move away from Maine after college, Maine Maritime gave me the opportunity to see many different places around the coastal US and it did not take long for me to realize Maine was where I wanted to live. While the transition from Maine Maritime Academy graduate to Realtor may not seem logical right away, growing up in the Brunswick area as the son and grandson of the family owned real estate business gave me an early insight into the exciting life of a real estate professional, and I knew that it was something I would be passionate about doing. While I still enjoy spending any chance I get on boats or around the ocean I have no regrets about coming ashore for work. Every day I am excited to show different homes and see the unique and creative ways that Mainers have designed them to fit their lifestyles. It has been a great transition for me from the son of a Realtor to Realtor working for his father at the family Business.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO-
Real estate is one of the few sales jobs where the clients truly come first. Working as a real estate professional lets me use some of my best qualities as a compassionate listener, creative problem solver, and good teacher to assist all types of real estate buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals. While real estate can be a stressful and intimidating process I strive to keep the process as enjoyable as possible, as there is nothing better than the smiles on everyone’s face after a successful closing.
OUTSIDE OF REAL ESTATE-
I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog on the ocean boating, fishing, gunk holing, or searching for marine life. I also enjoy playing many sports including disc golf and stick golf, volley ball, squash, hiking and riding my motorcycle. Most of all I love to learn anything and everything about almost anything.
